New Joint venture gives employers a unique Outplacement service

Employers planning right-sizing programmes this summer have a new partner to provide expert advice and support to their transitioning employees.

A joint venture announced today between Next Steps Consulting and ResourceBank has created a unique partnership that can provide expert outplacement support and packages tailored to individual company needs to suit every employee.

Traditionally outplacement services have specialised in either executive support or providing a generic suite of programmes for employees to follow.   The new partnership combines the executive, management consulting and coaching expertise of Next Steps with the operational and recruitment experience and knowledge of ResourceBank.

Employers managing redundancy programmes can have one partner who will support their HR team to deliver the expert and appropriate support to every employee. Next Steps Outplacement, as the partnership will be called, will offer a completely bespoke approach to meet individual and organisational needs which will include specialist well-being and emotional support, 1-1 coaching, new job targeting and a full library of online career resources alongside an understanding of the current job market.

It’s a stressful situation for all concerned but our new outplacement service gives transitioning employees real confidence and guidance in finding a new position.  It’s a win-win situation as HR staff and those remaining with the business are not negatively impacted by the redundancies and see that their colleagues have been supported through the process." Gemma Carter-Morris, Head of Wellbeing for Next Steps Outplacement

ResourceBank and Next Steps Consulting have more than 20 years’ experience of providing outplacement services to clients including Vodafone, Wolseley, Homeserve and the University of Birmingham.

There are a range of delivery models available to suit every type of employer ranging from an in-depth one to one service through to group workshops. Employers who want to give departing employees support and guidance should contact Next Steps Outplacement on 01952 212429 or via email on nextsteps@resourcebank.co.uk
